Heading to Brest right now just stopped for a coffee, every where is closed even the big supermarkets, roads are even more emptier than usual today as well.

Sunday like it should be and used to be here.

Brest is a bit of a sh*t hole from memory.

You might like the Finistare department though which is the end bit of Brittany. Its a bit like the coast of Scotland or the end of Cornwall. I prefer the stretch from around St Malo to Roscoff and then on the south coast Quimper to Vannes and the Golfe du Morbihan. You would need a month to get round it all properly though. You should do it in 24 hours I would think.
