Trip to France

You will only be able to access it when you are actually in one of the supported countries. It's the GPS location of your phone that prevents access. Wait till you get to France...
But is it?
Could it depend upon your Internet connection (e.g. through a UK SIM)?
But in some instances, I believe that it's a case of Google knowing your country of residence and basing it on that.
Certainly I (currently in France) do not see Fuel Flash in Play Store on my Android phone or tablet. I have experienced similar issues with other apps. It is worth trying when using hypermarket Wi-Fi, just in case location is dependent on that for some apps, but I have found it impossible to get some even doing that.

Good idea tom I'll try that.

We've just been up a quite steep road with lots of hairpin bends stopped to have a coffee and enjoy the views below.

One of you barstewards must have told them all we were coming,

we have seen very little traffic, the Swizz border guards actually saluted when saw the reg & also Pudsey and Brian on the dash and waved us through.

We really liked the twisty bits coming over from Remiremont, that Van's engine is spot on as is the gearing, sailed up in 3rd or 4th 100hp and 5 gears nor not saying more wouldn't be nice but totally not needed.

New van if we ever had the dosh, 9 speed slush box with cab AC as it was way hot here yesterday and Tuesday.

We am here being bears wot do lunch.

We're staying here tonight zero traffic 4g and great views we would have liked to have stopped earlier but not even a layby due to the steep terrain on both sides of the road.

And yes perfect biking roads but £$%^ weather wipers on full speed to keep up with the torrential rain pence.

I forgot to.mention and didn't take a picture but we were parked up for the night and this quite nice coach built van was there and it looked like someone had taken a ballpien hammer to it all on one side, what a mess,I suppose it was hail damage glad it wasn't ours though.

I tried to do the APK method together the Fuel flash app but to complicated for my brain, so I rang talk mobile and spoke to a lovely chap in Egypt and it took him about ten minutes to talk me through it, and I now have it installed.

Thanks again Canalsman for making us aware of a great program/app.

By heck it was cold last night and wet and it rained all night too, we had I thought not parked under a tree, I was wrong so we had to listen to it dripping on us all night long.

Had to put the heating on for a bit, good job I topped up the gas yesterday, only €85 pl it took 4.74l, the French adapter seems a better system than ours too, so another first out of the way.

Carrying on down Switzerland to Lausanne this morning, then turning east and then south towards the alp I think, then west to Anarchy.

Liz just reminded me that we were singing the the original Italian Job tune coming down the twisty bits this afternoon.

Had that on when went up the SP50, the escape route in the Italian job, unfortunately utube removed the soundtrack

As you're heading south, here's the road. It's a dead end so bit of a PIA, but it's one of the best drives in the alps, just avoid it on a Sunday when half of Turin go there.
