Trip to France

Just sat having a coffee after a few downhill twisty bits and I could here a small plane making diving noises which seemed odd considering the steep terrain and heavy low cloud right now, I opened up the Flight Recorder app and for an overview of the terrain it's better than any navigation app.

We're the tiny blue dot near the top of the second picture.

I noticed yesterday that another of the Remis door fixings has broken, 3 out of 5 screw holes are too large not really doing anything.

Is it really beyond the ken of man to make the molding machine so a stainless washer couldn't be embedded in the manufacturing process or at least make the section a bit more substantial?

I'm going to remove and glue something to the back of it, nylon or whatever I have in the garage.

Any ideas?

Were on our first aire of the trip, just a carpark with water and a place to empty and drain.

Some how we've managed to get through 45ltrs.

A couple of interesting bikes.

A little Puch moped, 60s? Nice condition though.

Still in Svitzerlund, I saw 5 of what might have been Eurofighters take off and then circle the town we were in, and on the way out we saw a convoy of army trucks, i did think of asking one of them for his knife but he looked like he might cry...

And finally one of you might find a use for this/them.

That moped is not as old as you think.
Keep the pics coming, saves me going there LOL.

We know how to live it up.

Svitzerlund has been good though, they know how to look after bears.

Just remembered we saw the Alps today and (I think)

Blimey Kev. Fair bit of snow on those mountains. I suppose its still early May. I wonder if that was why the Le Grand Bornand road was shut. Cant be surely in May. They are pretty good at keeping the roads open and its not that high.

Get into those hills man!!! :D

Love it!

I think we need to set some challenges.

I always liked to swim in Alpine Lakes.

I remember one 7000ft up a pass. Ill see if I can find it. Southern French Alps I think. We rode up that on the old 2 stroke Scooter years ago and when we got to the top with it screaming its tits off there were a load of Brit bikers all congratulating themselves for coming up the pass. Their chins hit the floor when a 100cc 2 stroke appeared at the top. There was a lake at the top and the first thing I did was dive in. They are lovely and "refreshing". This is your first challenge. :D

We only got up to 1000m for sure, maybe a bit higher.

Last night here in Payerne we had som scrotes making all kinds of noise, doors slamming, loud music talking loud and shouting near the van, it started about 11.30 and was still going on at 3am, I was very tempted to remonstrate with them but what type of arseholes are like that.

No plan as usual this morning, stay tuned for more from idiots abroad   :giggle::giggle::giggle:
