You got it to work ok then. Im sure I had various POI for Autoroute. Mainly all the Aires and wild spots off CC Infos (The French site) I think. No idea where they are though. It was a couple of laptops ago. Probably dumped them but I wonder if you can still get them off CC Infos. I had the same ones on Autoroute as I had on my TomTom.

Yup, it coughed out at first so after it unpacked I rebooted then it installed fine, asks you to register but you have the option of doing it later, and my USB GPS antenna works with it too, not that I'll use it, I was just curious.
Your POIs would be useful of course, I can't get CCinfos.
Do you remember Uncleswede off Facts? he did a spreadsheet that had a ton of stuff listed by country I still have that, a really well sorted thing, even brings up Google street view, but it's about ten or more years old now.

Go here https://www.campingcar-infos.com/Francais/telechargement.php. Click on the ASCI link and scroll down to France and download them
That will give you a compressed folder download. Extract them and then in autoroute you can import them.
