Trip to France

'Women have no sense of humour; this enables them to marry men, instead of just laughing at them ...'
'To woman, marriage is just a word, but to man, it is a sentence ...'
'Man is incomplete until he is married; then he is truly finished'
'God gave Man a willy and a brain, but only enough blood to operate one at a time' :ROFLMAO:

And, in summary of the case for the defence, some of us [older] men yearn for the chance to return to the teenage stage, but with the benefit of the fatter wallet that older age brings, the experience of a lifetime of a life well lived, and the understanding of a spouse who knows that it is all a fantasy, so the early laughter is transformed into a wry smile and a bewildered shake of the head at her man's optimism ... (y):ROFLMAO:

Steve

I've got to say Steve, that is fekkin profound.

If I was ever that profound I'd have to celebrate my new found wisdom and maturity by going out and getting totally bolloxed!

What a night, hardly any sleep, we are in the village of Villerouge-Termenès, a nice little village, very civilised, not many people, the odd thing is the church bells ring the hour, on the hour EVERY hour, then the same again 2 minutes later then 1 ring at the half hour i don't know why the villagers put up with that.

Yes, I've witnessed that elsewhere in France Kev.

You'll find a lovely quiet lay by 10 mins out of town. Right next to a lovely lake, river and a waterfall. :)

Been caught up in a few, all non violent ones. Best one was in Metz, they made a lot of noise, was a collection of everyone, commies, Frexit and even a small contingent from the local retired BDSM community. :) I hadn't intended to stay so long.:ROFLMAO:

Carcassonne was a disappointment, the main square was nice but, the rest was quite run down, grub was cheap enough though.

We stopped at a few so called WC free AIRES that were now camping car sites, (reported) so being from Yorkshire we passed, and headed to Perpignan looking for nice quiet place to overnight and found this empty picnic area.

Another biker road too, I took a few pics this morning in La Grasse, 1st is shovel, in nice nick so worth a few shackles, lots of bike but some were heading out as we were arriving, good lads two were stopping me from getting in blue badge bay but they came over without asking and moved them for me, class.
