Trip to France

I always set my satnav/navigation app to display speed in km/h when in France. Far more visible than the figures on my speedo.
My TomTom automatically switches to kph, but I've been doing it for so many years my brain automatically converts kph signs to mph speedo reading, the first car I drove in France never had kph on speedo.

Ready for the off, shortly breakfast, shower, new tyres, fuel n gas then away we go.
Bon Voyage Kev .. safe driving .. you and Liz have a great time buddy :)
enjoy the French grub and don't forget that the french effers have reduced their speed limits
keep us all updated (y) (especially all the miscreants on the bikers forum)

You are all a bunch of gits, went downtown Duxford, plant get up at 4am, to do the dartford crossing before 6am, dont like tolls or trolls, then head for the ferry.
This one’s waiting for you on the other side

I came across 3 days ago, and by my calculations 80% of all Brit motors I’ve seen so far do not have a UK sticker or even an old GB one. Yet every other nationality has it on their number plates.
I got all.my stuff in December and January and on the van, I still have GB on the front plate though out of defiance, mwah ha ha.

Got my old bear Brian with us, had him since the 80s, could not leave him at home Pudsey is there too in the middle.

Dartford crossing is free before 6am, and we wanted to catch the 8am ferry to Dunkirk but somehow it didn't get booked.

£179 now instead of £105
