Any thing bigger than his, obvs :)

(We all KNOW that anyone who has a bigger van than we have does not need a van that size. Same as anyone with a TV if we don't watch TV is not a "proper" camper and anyone with an awning if we don't like them is just carrying round extra weight, and ......... )
I assume it’s vans we are discussing David :ROFLMAO:

Ever so slightly off topic , but not in any way personal , people with really big vans which take up 2-3 spaces in very small Aires should stop it . Immediately. If they also have trailers then I will get personal
Why will you get personal?
What do you hope to achieve?
Will 'getting personal' really help you achieve it?
Wouldn't staying calm and stating your opinion in a calm manner possibly get a better outcome?

We'll all have our own views regarding all sorts of things (even such as what's a really big van etc) but getting personal when trying to get a point over to someone usually has the opposite effect and makes the recipient of the remark dig their heels in.
I understand, I've done it myself but getting personal never helps, all you're doing is venting your anger and thus angering the recipient.

Just an opinion of course, no personal insults please. ;)

Just jokingly pointing out that big vans (6.1 metres upwards) with a trailer taking up 4-5 spaces is even more irritating.
Saw that in Arras one time half the aire taken up by one vehicle.
(in case of any misunderstanding 6.1 length was meant as a joke)

I know but I could easily take up 3 spaces with a 6metre van ....... it just takes practice ........... 🤣🤣
I have to disagree with that .... It takes very little skill to take up FOUR spaces! (I manage it frequently in car parks :D )

Talking 'camping spaces', I don't understand why anyone wants to camp in a space where your camping neighbours are as close as being in a car park. Where is the fun and joy in that?

I managed to expand my 5.4M (I think?) VW T5 LWB Camper into a nice big space a while back ;)

This is me taking up a 10M x 10M pitch once I got the driveaway awning out and the Marquee put up and the trailer jauntily positioned :D

I shall invite comments for this.

The key is to spread out and look like a yobbo. Turn the place into a gypsy camp (no disrespect intended to gypsies) :D

Always take a guitar even if you dont play it. Bit of washing, a few tramp lager cans spread about. Guarantee you will get the place to yourselves! No, dont thank me.

I am very disappointed :(

fails:
1) The washing looks far too clean. There should be stains AND rips in those sheets.
2) I see no pet racoons going through any bags of rubbish

C+. Could try harder :)

PS. I am impressed how you are balancing a big top box on the end of the bike handlebar though! give yourself an A* for your Uri Geller impression :D

Not even a Moonshine still behind the van.
