CAMPERBANNED NC500’s fresh ban NEWS

Hi ya Debroos,
I do the same, Little & Often 👍
& Zombie Poo smells of Chicken 😊.
only Wee in my cassette (No Paper).
No difference between Bagging & Binning and disposing of Dog Poo Bags, Babies Nappies, Adult Disposable Pants, Panty Liners of all descriptions & alike 🤷🏻‍♂️.
Right. Now we're getting to the nitty gritty! We bag it also, individually, but empty it in public toilets and bin the bag. If we don't get to a toilet for a couple of hours though we do find that the bag has got very smelly! Hence not putting it in public bins...
Maybe it's just us.....

How does brown water block a loo, and why a mess, are you doing the tango. 😂

As I said, if its not broken down well and there is loads of loo roll in there it can block a loo. Of course in huge quantities it can splash back as well and make a mess. Ok if you clear it up but the main concern is blockage which from personal experience can happen.

How was that suggested? Having a toilet facility covers a massive range of options and waste water collection could be a jerrycan under the sink?

As I said in a later post Neil, why should small van owners be subjected to a knock on the door by a ranger or council official to see if they have these facilities or what they are registered as?

I'm sure the Police wouldn't be interested so how exactly would they Police what Trev is suggesting?

Simple with a engineers report before getting its use changed to motorcaravan, all they have to do is a reg check, if it came back as a day van then a fine.
But im not getting at anyone just pointing out what can/should be done or not.
Some on here say bag and bin, no bins are for recycle rubbish not richard the thirds. 😂

And General & Doggie Waste in the appropriate bins Trev !
& it just so happens that when I make a deposit
‘I identify myself as a dog’ 🤷🏻‍♂️

What does it matter what it's use is Trev??

Dayvan, Van with windows, motorcaravan! Many people have campers which are not registered as motorcaravans, even professional converters sell them not registered as motorcaravans. To get a van registered as a motorcaravan you have to have an awning for one thing and many don't want to do that.

Whatever it is registered as is irrelevant and will not stop people overnighting in their vans. The minority who dispose of their sewage in hedgerows etc. do so because they either don't want to carry it around with them or don't want to pay to dispose of it at a campsite. Your proposal would just force these people into putting a bucket with a seat in their vans and carrying on as they always have ie. dumping it in hedgerows.

We really don't need any separate legislation between those with motorhomes and those with small vans, and we certainly don't want yet more legislation about who can park where and when! The only people who would benefit from your suggestion would be these 'engineers' who we would have to pay to inspect our vans!

Prob Rob, but how on earth are we going to stop these people leaving a mess in the countryside, if they did it outside my or your door id say we would be the first to complain, folk living out in the sticks dont want waste or toilets dumped on there patch, its a hard one to sort or police, almost impossable.

I agree Trev, but you are assuming that small campervanners actually do this.

Car drivers do it, cyclists do it, tent campers do it etc. etc. Nobody wants waste dumped outside their door but legislating against small camper owners isn't the answer, that won't stop the car drivers etc.

In my view the only thing that would stop this is huge fines for non-compliance - and I mean huge!

Recycle bins on blocks round here have nappies, emptying from cat litter trays, and if we are lucky, we might go a month or two without a crackhead taking a dump in the recycle bins too, at least the others bag theirs, doesn't stop the foxes having a rummage round though.

I'm thinking the time for zero tolerance is approaching.

100% Rob, hard to police mind you, cameras may be a answer but they cannot be everywhere.

Mines is a day van but I never leave home without my portaloo. I can take a £$%^ in Tesco carpark just like you or any other carpark for that matter. I’ve seen folk with fancy motor homes trot off into the woods for a £$%^ so don’t blame it on the wee vans Trev😏✌️🫶

I wasn't referring to any type of vehicle, I was pointing out it's easy to have a toilet setup in ANY kind of vehicle. Most of my friends don't have a conventional toilet in their vehicles or even tent/benders. They all manage to do the necessary without leaving it for someone else to clean up though.

As for legislation or engineers reports Trev, neck that, we have too much now. Birching or kneecapping I may agree with though

I think we're talking at cross purposes Neil, I know that there are many easy ways to have toilet facilities.
