CAMPERBANNED NC500’s fresh ban NEWS

The chemical used to break it down. You know the saying 'You cannot polish a turd', well that's true enough, but if you use bio washing liquid, you can at least make it smell nice :ROFLMAO:

Steve
Bio breaks it down to light brown water and no pong if left a week in the tank, if you have 2 tanks then problem solved.

Toilet self levels so just one flush if using bio tabs it will be ok and no bad stink.
Take the cassette in a shopping trolley. ;)
We have a septic tank at home. I have been told the enzymes in some of the bio detergents can sometimes disrupt the natural balance of bacteria in the tank and likely better to opt for non-bio detergents, or bio specifically for septic tanks. Will certainly consider when out and about, especially interesting with the breakdown. What brand do you use?

Cant remember but may have been from a pound shop, they work very well and i have 2/3 boxes left.
At home if a tank is used then just tip down the loo, if away for long then bio is a must.

Hey Guys 😊
I LOVE a good toilet thread ! 👍
If it's a bad toilet thread, wrap some horsehair or PTFE tape around it until you can get a permanent repair made ...

I live in Sutherland and this ban will make no difference. The two car parks are small and there are alternate parking places in both locations.

I agree with the comments about shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted and the supply of suitable facilities are needed. There is, however, opposition in many locations to the provision of facilities and councillors would find it difficult to get re- elected if they were seen to support Motorhome camping.
I also agree that it is the few that spoil things for the many and have witnessed the issues caused by inexperienced campers.

Here is how it was reported locally. https://www.northern-times.co.uk/ne...agree-motorhomes-and-campervans-shoul-374709/

I always need to empty mine at home after a trip, and never had a problem emptying it in the toilet at home

I think its ok to empty in a loo until it isn't. :D I've certainly done it in the past years ago discreetly in little used rural toilets but they are few and far between now and I cant remember the last time I had to use one. However it can get messy if you are not careful as I am sure you will know and you can block them. Back end of last year one of the elsan points on a large site we were on in Devon was a an actual toilet. It got blocked a fair bit and I even blocked it myself once. If your "stuff" isnt broken down well and there is a lot of loo roll in there it can happen and did to me. I just called maintenance and apologised and they quickly sorted it but I would hate to think I had done it in a public loo.

We used to use disabled loos as you rarely got disturbed so had plenty of time to clean up any possible mess and leave it tidy, in a public loo it seems a bit furtive so we stopped, so now the loo never gets used in the van, bag it and bin it and wee bottles, we find the large 2 or 3l fabric softeners bottles work well.

Sadly,
This is a common report country wide 😔.
Good & Bad in every walk of life magnified by Attitude & the sheer amount of numbers crammed into Bigger & Bigger clusters sharing this finite space 🤷🏻‍♂️

Same here 👍,
My conscious is clear about this 🤷🏻‍♂️😊

How does brown water block a loo, and why a mess, are you doing the tango. 😂

Where do you bin it? Doesn't it cause a smell?

Hi ya Debroos,
I do the same, Little & Often 👍
& Zombie Poo smells of Chicken 😊.
only Wee in my cassette (No Paper).
No difference in my limited mind between Bagging & Binning Zombie waste once or twice a day in multiple locations as I travel or disposing of Dog Poo Bags, Babies Nappies, Adult Disposable Pants, & Panty Liners of all descriptions & alike from a number of pets & people in a household 🤷🏻‍♂️.
Just think what goes down a rubbish shoot in a block of Flats housing say 100 people 😳
