Shame about 'The Lawns' stayed four or five times, superb Indian restaurant just across the road, and many other places to eat/drink/coffee cake also.
Very short sighted. On one hand I can understand that if the 'council's portfolio holder for inclusive economic growth', would love a fly on the wall look at that interview for that job, has been made aware of something that applies to campsites regarding distances between vehicles being slept in overnight. ( I need to declare that I do not have knowledge of restrictions or enforcement ) and may be held responsible (no idea how campsite rules apply here) if it goes horribly wrong and multiple vehicles catch fire and people perish, I, as 'council's portfolio holder for inclusive economic growth' would be looking to cover my arse or avoid the situation.

Of course the smug LF could have done some research which would have shown the truth.
Think they would follow what Bamburgh Castle has done. 10 bays for motorhomes during the day, but only 5 can be used at night. This gives the separation required when sleeping. All clearly marked and have to be booked in advance, so you know you have a slot.
