    Disconnect one of the wires and recheck voltage, will show if issue is battery pack or the pcb?

    Looks like batteries are in series, should read 3.2v on the wires, poor connections maybe - try bending springs or cleaning?

    Tough choice, but went for Google maps as it will be used more often than offline maps. I assume the latest kml file available will continue to work with maps.me (after the migration) ? Hopefully dead spots will reduce with time. Al
