I’ll put the kettle on, you have a lot of explaining to do.

All news outlets decide what they wish to report. It’s impossible to report on everything that’s going on in the world at anyone time.
Rob, contrary to what was reported the beeb did report it, and they did apologise to Farage. And for all we know it may well have been reported on live tv, I watch the beeb a lot, but apparently not as much as others who purport never to watch it. As for scroty Mc fuckface ? Who is he.I dunno about that Bill.
They still manage to find room for Scroty McFuckface being awarded a couple of million for being slightly offended by the weather not being quite right for him/her/it one morning.
(names and situation may have been changed)

Maybe that is because not enough of us actually cast a vote in local or general elections Rob. If everyone just watched the main stream media news programmes then they don't get the information to make an informed choice. Ofcom is just a waste of taxpayers money in my opinion. I know from posts on here that a few members feel the same as me but say nowt. That is because if you speak against the trend you are labelled as far right, a nutter or a conspiracy theorist. This online world has turned many people into children. They will not respect the right of anyone to have a different opinion and will say things that they would never say to me if I was stood in front of them. They have an exaggerated sense of their importance and entitlement. My point was Bill that a lot of what is reported is often not even newsworthy yet they still manage to fit it in.
I know nothing about the Farage incident nor do I have any interest in it. I find it depressing to watch the news and listening to how f**** up this country is and knowing that there is little any of us can do about it.

Yes the apology was transmitted on live TV just a couple of hours later by the person who made the original comments.Rob, contrary to what was reported the beeb did report it, and they did apologise to Farage. All Empires and Political systems only have a relatively short life. Maybe we are witnessing the back end of the Democratic era. Usually these systems fail from within and we could be seeing the start of this.Couldn't agree more Jim.
I have also thought the same, scary times. All Empires and Political systems only have a relatively short life. Maybe we are witnessing the back end of the Democratic era. Usually these systems fail from within and we could be seeing the start of this.

It’s not solely based on specific information, it’s really quite straight forward. Just look what’s going on in planet earth, it’s scary even if you never watch the news. We have Trump dividing the US, and posing a risk to democracy, Putin intent on bullying smaller nations on his borders, and using nuclear threats towards the west. The Middle East is turning into a living hell, Taiwan fearing an invasion from China. The world has become more divided and belligerent than ever in my lifetime. People don’t debate anymore, they abuse anyone or anything they don’t agree with. Then we have environmental issues, failing economies, our NHS is in turmoil. It’s depressing, and I cannot see things getting better anytime soon. But my biggest fear is what will it take to sort all of our troubles out, and are we ready to deal with what may lie ahead. To say I am pessimistic would be a massive understatement.Don't get the information to make an informed choice ?
Dodgy ground there
Cheer up Bill, put the kettle on, roll a spliff, put your favorite Tangerine Dream album on.It’s not solely based on specific information, it’s really quite straight forward. I just thought I would cheer you lot up, but Leonard Cohen would be more befitting, don’t you think so Ral, or are you counting pink horses flying over garden right now RalCheer up Bill, put the kettle on, roll a spliff, put your favorite Tangerine Dream album on.
Chill.
Tik tok videos along with many other platforms are likely as skewed as the mainstream media ....Just maybe it didn’t suit the BBC’s agenda to report it fully. I’m an avid tiktok watcher and from phone videos of folk present it seems many of the agitators were on the sidelines opposed to the march and carrying Israeli flags, I cann’t copy tiktok videos to here but take a look.
Unicorns in green sparkly Mankini's being ridden by Scotsmen in wedding dresses Bill.I just thought I would cheer you lot up, but Leonard Cohen would be more befitting, don’t you think so Ral, or are you counting pink horses flying over garden right now Ral
An eyeopener for me was an investigation of a pedestrian killed crossing the road, several witnesses stated that she had stepped off the pavement in front of a 4x4, police had all but put it down to her own fault until they noticed a chipshop had CCTV, the video showed she had been crossing road in what should have been a safe manner when the 4x4 came across a junction driven in a dangerous way, driver was done for causing her death by dangerous driving.Tik tok videos along with many other platforms are likely as skewed as the mainstream media ....
Frankly the only representation of any event I'd personally trust
would be one I had witnessed from start to finish personally ...
And even then I'd be questioning IF I'd read the situation properly ....
I'm sorry BUT basing your opinions on a tiktok video ...
So a video of any event,in real time, wherever published is more inaccurate than 3rd party reporting, and you still believe a newspaper report over something you see with your own eyes? Really?Tik tok videos along with many other platforms are likely as skewed as the mainstream media ....

I personally am sceptical of ANYTHING posted as a video clip ....So a video of any event,in real time, wherever published is more inaccurate than 3rd party reporting, and you still believe a newspaper report over something you see with your own eyes? Really?
