Mppt woes

Now here's a howdydo, I think that it is due to swapped polarities because the van exterior gives me jolt when I touch it. Sadly my polarity tester is on the bench with the multi tester, could I be on the right track..
If swapped polarities gives you a jolt, do not connect your van to any hookup until an electrician has fixed it, because it is dangerously faulty.

... there will be lots of time to fiddle about and try to make sense of your wonderful suggestions
When you look into it, please don't fire the parts cannon at the problem until you find out what is wrong.
Five minutes checking will tell whether there is a fault in the wiring.
Another five minutes checking will tell whether there is a fault in the solar controller.
If so, you may need a third five minutes checking to find out what blew up the controller. They don't usually go wrong -unless you get them wet.

Please either borrow a lead and try it and
tell us if things blow when you lead is plug into supply but not into MoHo.

These only take a couple of minutes and don't need any tools or test equipment.

We may be able to identify the fault.

We are now on an aire so no leccy, but we will be able to try on the 5th because we will be on a campsite prior to going to the service on the 6th. Keeping everything crossed.

Peter. If you're passing our place on your way home I can take a quick look for you. We're away soon on and off so depends when and if you're passing. J22 M1.
PM me👍
Thanks for the kind offer, we haven't yet booked a return crossing so unsure of our route home yet
