Very nice.
Is it an Auto Sleeper?
No idea.Is the pope catholic?!
well ...... It is a T4 - so probably the best VW Transporter in the VW Van range from the very first to the current day in terms of balance of Drivability vs Affordable running costs.
Looks like a long nose version, which is the smartest looking one (and also has the best headlights! handy for seeing in the dark )
Is it a 2.5TDi or a 1.9TD engine?
Whichever it is, looks like a cracking machine there
Our first van was VW powered, 2.4 I think, Autohomes Explorer, nice to drive.
So glad you have a nice van.
she will .av .is guts frr garters....hahahIts a good job there's water between you and Marie Terry
Backstory!
Jeanette was out and about yesterday afternoon on some regular errands and she and her husband decided to go a different way back home to normal.
That was when Jeanette spotted a camper just off on a side road with a for sale sticker in the window. It was not on a busy main road with loads of passing traffic and you would probably have to be a car passenger, not driver, to be even quick enough to spot it.
She texted me straight away. I didn't pick up the text until about an hour later. Told Neil it was worth going to check out as only 2 minutes drive away so we went straight off to see it.
Turns out it is a 100% lovely genuine seller. The "for sale" sign had only been placed in the window that morning at around 11:00am.
The lady owner is (extremely!) reluctantly selling due to genuine health issues and it has been meticulously looked after by her for the last 13 years. Only 2 previous owners, and that's including the current owner.
I just can't express how over the moon I am, Neil's really pleased too, so we're 2 very happy bunnies right now
After months of fruitless searches (and having almost given up the ghost), Serendipity definitely rules!
Remember and pack a scarf!Well, it's taken us bl**dy took long enough to find one, hasn't it Kev?!
It's got to be over 6 months I've been looking for one
Oh well done Marie!! That looks lovely. A long search finally paid off! Very lucky there I think, I bet it would have been gone in a heartbeat.
2.5td in that little van will pull well I reckon. Same in my ancient Kontiki. Good engine.
