Jeanette, you little superstar!!! :)

Aha!

Well... I'm keeping you in suspenders just for now, Gordon (oo-er, missus! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: )

It will not come as not surprise to some, and a certain electrickery gentleman from the Borders may well approve(?).

As for the rest of the wildcampers - you will either love, hate, or sniff in disdain and disinterest wondering why I'm so excited! 😜🤪 🤷‍♀️😎😘😘
opps wrong thread.

Got the thumbs up from mechanic, just about as mint as you can get all round 😃(y) 👌

Neil is sorting out payment just now, then insurance to sort and it'll be collected and sitting on our driveway in the blink of an eye - the seller only lives just over a mile away! 😁
Great news. (y)

Backstory!

Jeanette was out and about yesterday afternoon on some regular errands and she and her husband decided to go a different way back home to normal.

That was when Jeanette spotted a camper just off on a side road with a for sale sticker in the window. It was not on a busy main road with loads of passing traffic and you would probably have to be a car passenger, not driver, to be even quick enough to spot it.

She texted me straight away. I didn't pick up the text until about an hour later. Told Neil it was worth going to check out as only 2 minutes drive away so we went straight off to see it.

Turns out it is a 100% lovely genuine seller. The "for sale" sign had only been placed in the window that morning at around 11:00am.

The lady owner is (extremely!) reluctantly selling due to genuine health issues and it has been meticulously looked after by her for the last 13 years. Only 2 previous owners, and that's including the current owner.

I just can't express how over the moon I am, Neil's really pleased too, so we're 2 very happy bunnies right now 😁🙏

After months of fruitless searches (and having almost given up the ghost), Serendipity definitely rules! 💪 😉👍

Sounds as though it's ideal deal
Well done

I think this has made my shifty so far weekend delighted for you both
so are you a dubber now or is it a wildebus model👍🤪👏🏻

Shh! I told David not to say anything yet! 😂🙄

Let's just say that our old VW will be usable as a very comfortable camper immediately, unlike Admin's mega-posh techy-fied ultra-modern VW (and no doubt cost us peanuts by comparison! 😜😊 😉 )

Not that I'm envious or anything... 🤥🤭😘
