Heating Costs Aboard for you ?.

Just an update on the costs.
It’s now been a fair few weeks of use now,
Used most days, Normally an hour in the morning & then 6-8 hrs at Night. Getting fairly consistent fuel use / cost results over this time.
According to my Spatula Guage (Patent Pending) it’s approximately 9 or so hrs to a lt
So happy with that.
Stay warm people 😊👍

Get yourself a 20 litre drum of 28 sec & keep it in the van to top up,burns much cleaner.

And take up valuable Donut payload 😳.

Cheers Trev, But as I said earlier in the thread that just wouldn’t work for me as In that kinda quantity it’s as expensive as Diesel 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Yeah when I explored the WAW (oh that will get the abbreviation fingers wagging 🤣) I noticed fair difference in price, especially when going OFF the route a few miles or so to re supply.

I would happily pay that, That’s a BRILLIANT price, Send some up 👍😊

(Are you in Ireland Trev ?)
N ireland, 6 miles north of Belfast, Glengormley.

I use one in my conservatory with exhaust through the wall, a new model with a 240 volt hook up is available.
Not cheap but very convenient, only turn it on when needed, heat is almost instant. I run it one heating oil btw.
They are copied from the German original. The Chinese have come a very long way, similar to the Japanese in the 70s.
I watch Trump talking about tariffs, well good luck he will need it. The public will be the losers with higher prices or home country higher prices one way or another.
In short one of the best products I have purchased.

So Yep,
This is my First Diesel heater aboard a live in vehicle as a Primary source of heat (Having always had preferred Multi Fuel Stoves as primary heating & Diesel heaters as secondary in the past), & I have to be honest.
Having now gone through a year in Scotland with it, It’s Cheap to Buy, Easy to install, Light in weight, Economical to Run, Gives Constant heat & is Very Controllable, is ON & OFF at a press of a button, Cheap to Run, Convenient to fuel, What’s not to like 👍.

(However 🤔,,,I still miss my Multi Fuel stove).
