Not many irish drink in the crown bar, hot foamy beer, the europa was bomed because the UDR/British army were stationed in it at a time.
May i also say that the kitchens had rats by the loads back in the seventies, i got the job of repainting all the room doors in it.

Love Enniskillen, however not overly motorhome friendly. We often park at the forum leisure centre, but it is being rebuilt at present.
For a quiet overnight, try the marina at Ballinaleck, or a favourite of ours, Ballyconnel marina, just over the border.

The Crown liquor saloon is owned, or was owned by the National trust. A bit of a departure from stately homes.
The Europa hotel that BarryD refers to was once the most bombed hotel in (I think) the world.

Deffo a tourist pub but well worth the visit. We had a nice lunch in one not the snugs a few years back

100% sure its fuel problem, either the unit i showed you or a pump problem with either a air leak/one way valve if there is one or faulty electric pump if one rather than a manuel unit driven of the engine, remember the easystart, hope you got some.

Parked up next to Lough Allen - gas fire on for 5 minutes, van now toasty warm - it’s a frosty morning, the grass is white!

We’re just north of Carrick-On-Shannon. Due to arrive for the week of housesitting later today, but on our way will do a pitstop at Ballaghadereen to stock up with food and goodies.

The only issue we had in Oirland, was 6kg gas and refillable places

Note: currently plenty of 6kg cylinders available all over in Northern Ireland, Kev. Not sure about Southern Ireland, but the 2 cylinders we’ve got should last us until we get back home - assuming the frosty mornings like this one will soon be gone!

After arriving in Stranraer we discovered the (nearly full) cylinder we had hooked up for use had a leaky valve and all the remaining gas has escaped since our last trip out in the van at New Year Got a replacement 6kg at a gas stockist in Stranraer before catching the ferry. £32 paid, an increase from the £22 paid last year in Amble when we went to Druridge meet.

We spoke to a couple of residents when we first got here last night and they are absolutely fine about us parking our van up for the night. This park up is on Search for Sites. It’s just a little public car park with picnic tables, but very quiet and pretty. I’d forgotten how noise free it is over here - apart from the birds this morning!
