Hunmanby Gap!!!

Don't really understand anyone saving up loads of loo waste in a black bag, unless it's from a separator/composting style loo, in which case no one would know unless they opened and checked every bag in the bin, or is the suggestion that someone empties a port loo in a black bin bag and then dumps that in the bin?

I suspect that someone has emptied a portaloo into a black bin bag and dumped that in the bin. The warden found that and rightfully wasn’t happy.

I've never found anything that breaks up all the paper. Tablets, the blue stuff, the green stuff, fairy liquid. Tried them all.

The best solution I've found if you need it to last a while is to blue the loo and make like the Greeks and bag the loo paper for proper disposable later. The it literally is just liquid when you empty and pretty safe in a normal loo although I don't like emptying in them as a rule.

Whoever did this is a disgusting individual but nothing surprises me now
Use bio loo paper mind you i leave ours a week at least before being chucked down my workshop bog, best you use public loos when or if you find any these days.

Never really found a problem emptying the Loo Trev either in the UK or Europe (especially Europe). There are occasions though where I do want it to last longer as its a few miles to an emptying point on the bike. 32 mile round trip on Arran is the record so far. ITs a two mile trip down a mountain where we are right now in the Alps. Thats when ill bag the paper. Can get six days maybe seven then. What a conversation for 7:15 in the morning! :D

I use a compost loo and I don't do that at all....and I think most just put into the bag along with the in my case sawdust . Tie up and put into dog waste bins.
No 1s into a "dedicated" bottle and into a public loo when needed to empty.

You're clearly using the wrong paper or staying in one place too long. Morrisons 3-ply and no chemicals of any sort (SOG unit), drive most days, and it always just dissolves.

Could well be staying in one place too long. Its extremely rare for us to have a one nighter unless its a stop over on a long stretch. Even touring like we are now we will stay a week in one place often. Bizarrely the old long bench cassette which was bigger than the newer shorter square ones seemed to work better.

The thing with "composting" toilets is that the waste is composted...otherwise it's bag and bin! We take out compost home with us ( or to our place in Portugal where our loos are also composting) and put it in the designated compost heap where it breaks down. Putting a big bin bag of waste into a public bin is just not acceptable. Maybe a one or two poos in a bag into a dog bin but really not a large amount.

I am sorry for the warden as this is horrible for him. However as we get hot and bothered about the individual who does this do we consider Thames water who have been dumping tons of sewage into the rivers and the CEO still gets his bonus. 😡
By the way, apart from smell, you can tip urine into a hedge or verge. It is not germ carrying like poo and used to be a valuable commodity.

A bit of "whataboutery" to divert from the problem? Start a thread about car drivers, this is about us!
That would be allegedly us as he only thinks he knows the responsible vehicle.
I have seen a works van throw out a builders bucket full of £$%^ onto the grass at a service area and every laybye on every A road stinks of piss and £$%^. That lot doesn't come from just MHs but we are the easy target.

No but if enough do it, it stinks and the fact it was valuable years ago means nothing in this case.

Personally no, I don’t think about Thames Water when thinking about this, as they are two completely unconnected issues.

This is about a campervanner dumping human waste into a bin, and getting us banned from stopping. Plus lots of drivers seeing the notice every day and judging us badly.

I doubt that is as easy to do as it sounds, more likely someone has put a bag with poo in it in the bin.

Last time we were there.... The warden/owner was, jumping up and down as someone had emptied a cassette in one of the far corners....

Toilet paper and £$%^ everywhere...

And obviously from a chemical toilet cassette as there was blue toilet fluid in evidence....

Can't blame him in the least bit for being bouncing...
He has ALWAYS been great with us in the past...
BUT only takes one entitled mouth breathing idiot.

We will never know how it was done, only the campervanner knows that. All we know is that they dumped a black bin liner containing a large quantity of human waste into the general waste bin. The how matters far less than the why.

Where I live wheelie bins are emptied into the wagon . You are allowed to put bagged up dogstuff in the wheelie bins which I do
I also have a bin of my own out the back which I use for dogstuff. That also goes into wheelie bin .
Is that so different from humanstuff?

Yes, he did say there have been several instances. So once again an entitled vanner screws us all over.

Yes, it is. The dog poo is in small quantities and is almost always emptied automatically without being handled. The human waste was a large quantity (think of a cassette) and it was in the general bin that the warden empties himself.

There's also a huge difference between dry solids in a bag (dog poo OR from a seperating toilet with dry cover material )

Compared to several gallons of liquid human waste in a badly tied bin liner.
