We,ve camped there back in the 70's a couple of times.Back in those days I had a mk1 transit diesel(perkins 4108 engine)Iwe had tents which we loaded on our dory which I had on the roof.As I remember the numbers were limited and we had to get special permission, only us 2 adults and 2 children and friend and his family. There was a white stag on the island and another island a short row away where we picked blueberrys. No electric just a big iron plate over a fire pit to cook on.Only company was of an evening when the occasional boat would moor up,and we'd talk or "sing" songs round the campfire.views over Loch Lomond from the island of inchcallioch near balmaha. It’s a five minute crossing from McFarlands boat yard in balmaha lovely wee island .
