I never leave any mess whatsoever. Usually, I leave the toilet cleaner than when I found it. By the time my cassettes are emptied the contents are usually totally liquid and as I only use biological washing powder it does not harm the drainage environment.
Read my post again !Sorry but any time I see this being done it’s a very quick in and out in seconds. I then venture into the scene of the crime. And not once have I not managed to ses signs of spillage from a cassette. On one occasion I was utterly appalled at the mess left for unsuspecting members of the public. I just don’t see why you don’t make sure you have access to an elsan point once a week, it woukd save all of this from happening. I know folk get tetchy about this, but my main concerns are for the public, and our reputation. And I have seen this done when signs are up asking not to do this.
Why do I have to read your post again, exactly.Read my post again !
Anytime I empty my cassette I leave the same amount of mess as I would leave in my own house , none . That includes elsan places .
Can't speak for others
I think it means what it says on the tin. Boi washing powders damage sceptic tanks, as for what does sparingly mean I would suggest it means very little.Bio powders reducing Bio activity? sorry but garbage. What does sparingly mean?
My point being I don't do that . I asked you to reread my post because your answers are not relevant to what I've posted .Why do I have to read your post again, exactly.
If you reckon its ok to empty your cassette into a public toilet, without any knowledge of what happens to its contents, thats your choice.
Where did I say that you do anything, please show me.My point being I don't do that . I asked you to reread my post because your answers are not relevant to what I've posted .
I will leave you with the numerous bees buzzing in your bonnet
Nothing comes out of my tank only light brown water, no glugging or splashing, I keep mine to home and put down the workshop loo.Sorry Trev, but if you don’t see any difference then please think again.
Such behaviour damages sceptic tanks, leaves public toilets unfit for use, creates blockages, and creates another stick to whack us over the head with. We can make our cassette last 4 days, why not plan ahead and make sure you have access to an elsan point once a week, it’s a no brainier to me.
Good man Trev, we either do the same, or make sure we have access to an Elsan point if out more than 4 days.Nothing comes out of my tank only light brown water, no glugging or splashing, I keep mine to home and put down the workshop loo.
Its called Guinness,Bill.Good man Trev, we either do the same, or make sure we have access to an Elsan point if out more than 4 days.
But I dread to think what you lot are eating over there Trev, brown water bejesus Trev. You need to get to the Docs and quick.
Formaldehyde and detergent are "basically liquid". To not damage a septic tank it has to be chemical free . Is your house on a septic tank?Main reason I don't do it is in case I'm spotted by a member of the public . When I do empty , the contents are basically liquid and will not damage a septic tank or cause a blockage .
I often use my own house toilet for emptying and it does not cause any problems .
So that’s Trevs brains are scrambled on here sometimes Terry. Its called Guinness,Bill.

Answer to both these sentences is 'how do you know?'I have never seen a toilet were a cassette has been emptied left with no trace of the contents.....FACT.
But then I have never checked one left by your good self, now have I.
'
If you want to take anything personal, thats your choice, not mine.
There you go again , somewhat personal maybe ?And I reckon that public toilets being closed, blocked, and left filthy due to the actions of motorhomers, is relevant.
I am astounded that you don't.
As for bees on my bonnet, grow up.
The trouble is, many aren’t as responsible as you. They are the ones who block the pipes and ruin the septic tanks.Main reason I don't do it is in case I'm spotted by a member of the public . When I do empty , the contents are basically liquid and will not damage a septic tank or cause a blockage .

I'll repeatAll of these comments were made after your post, not before. But from what I see of you on here you’re just a wind up merchant. So you are telling all on here before you empty your human waste down a public toilet you have checked to see if it’s connected to a sceptic tank, not connected to a small pipe which could block, and you thoroughly sanitise after finishing. If you do fair play to you, but the big problem is most don’t. You know the whole world does not revolve around what you do, and the fact is we are responsible for toilets being closed, blocked, and left filthy, even if you are squeaky clean and well versed on were you are dumping your waste.
Spot on, it's not what any careful individual does, it's what the individual who is not careful does. The trouble is, many aren’t as responsible as you. They are the ones who block the pipes and ruin the septic tanks.
I wish I had thought of the bees in the bonnet. as that is how it looks to me. You would not know you had followed me as I leave no clue except for a distinctive smell for a few minutes. There are signs all over the place, mostly illegal, banning overnight parking. In Exmouth there is an area along the seafront to the east of the town. Someone queried the ban and the spurious reasons of why the ban was put on were amazing. I checked up on it and every one was spurious. Pure prejudice and jealousy is all it is, I will give you chapter and verse, Fisherman (so far as I remember) on it if you likeI will leave you with the numerous bees buzzing in your bonnet
