Trustpilot Review Request

Done by us this morning. The system is working far better than we had hoped for even in Feb! We don't now worry about power as we now trust that by lunchtime or at worst mid afternoon we are charged up again. Great job David and many thanks again.

PS... apples need a trim annually, see you sir!
Cheers :)
And I will just add an additional comment if I may .... Your setup is using Lead-Carbon Gel Batteries and not Lithiums.

Now I know you know this of course, but so many folk think nowadays that they HAVE to go Lithium to have a modern usuable system but that is really not the case.

Ok. Everyone we were steered towards Lead Carbon by Dave as he suggested we just didn't/don't need it as we don't carry hair curlers as I am bald, nor do we sport a coffee machine or airfryer. We have two solar panels, amounting to 240V and our batteries sit full at 14.6V. We have not yet had to move to charge up, the panels are doing the job perfectly even in dull February. Thus, David saved us a considerable amount of money. I highly recommend him.

The thing that makes me distrust them more than anything is the potential number of "paid for" reviews that they've accepted. Twice I've had emails from vendors offering future discounts in return for five-star reviews. I reported both to Trustpilot yet they seemed to take no action as the reviews left at around the same time were not removed.
I think any review system is open to a level of abuse and I doubt it can be prevented totally. It becomes a judgement call. With the advent of automated reviews via AI Bots, it is getting harder and harder to spot though.
In your example, maybe the 5* reviews were genuine? did they match your own experience of the company. Maybe rather then reporting, a better option if you felt strongly about it was post an accurate review of your experience but also mention how you were offered an incentive to rate 5* and you thought that inappropriate?

Some time last year I got something from Amazon and the vendor offered a paypal payment in return for a review, and it was actually a reasonable amount in return for the time taken to review. Again, I don't know if there is any mechanism to stop that as Amazon make their money by selling stuff so knocking back a retailer would be cutting off their own nose really.
As it happens, I posted a 5* review and took the money as I thought the product was decent and I would have given a positive review anyway. If it was a POS, then I wouldn't have.
