Trouble with my mojo

We are giving the EU a miss this year. We have loads of places we like in the UK. We sat down after Christmas and rang round and booked something for every month right upto September. Nothing special. Week near Margate followed by a week in Burnham on Crouch. Couple of weeks in Norfolk. Off to the South Coast end of the week. Places we like and a few new places. EHU and just plain fields. 6 month old puppy to give us something to do. Don't know how I managed to goto work. Slowed down now and need a walking stick to get around but still breathing. Spoke to a friend last night. He fell over in the bathroom on a nightly visit. His blood pressure was 59 over 35. SWMBO was surprised he is still with us. The days we have left are getting fewer so you need to cram plenty in. Just decided we will be off to Spain next year. Go down in March when fewer muzzles about and head back into France in May for a month on the way back. Thats if we are still around.

UK is great if you get the weather. Fingers crossed its as good as last summer. Last year was one of our best trips ever and we never left the country.

Check the EU Official Stay Calculator, Barry. There is an advantage available because of the 'Rolling 90 Days in any one 180 Days'. If you use your 90 days in one trip, then you will have to wait 90 days for the next visit. HOWEVER, if you limit your first trip to say 60 days, then you leave yourself 30 days unused, and if you take a second trip after a 70 day stay back in UK, you will begin to gain the use of days from your first trip that have 'decayed' [are older than 180 days], enabling you to anticipate those decaying days. In effect, if, say the first 30 days of your first trip will be more than 180 days by the planned end of your second trip, you can add them onto the 30 days you have left from your first 60 days trip.

It needs some playing around with dates [but the EU Stay Calculator is designed to permit this], but the difference that saving some of your original 90 days is worthwhile. It can make the difference between squeezing in a second trip that finishes in Autumn sunshine. instead of one that ends in Winter

At my age that is far too complicated to cope with!

We just take a coat 😂 Bit of rain never hurt anyone and it saves having a shower 🙃

I can't believe that last summer we delayed out travel back up north from Devon as it was deemed too hot to travel at over 40 degrees. Instead we elected to stay a week longer not least of all because Devon was a cool 30-32c so we went and sat in the sea instead! :D
