Trouble with my mojo

Illness, consequent surgery & slow recovery has meant that our moho hasn't been driven for 6 months, and unable to predict when/if it'll be driven again. Only time will tell if we'll make it to France this year, or, if worst come to worst, sell it:(. Mojo definately under pressure.

Thanks for your stories, and many truths about age and travel. I probably just need a kick up the backside as my dad would have said.
Buttocks clenched, eyes closed, go for it, we are in our late 70s and between us we have a whole book full of medical things, but bloomin' 'eck we are going to fall off our perches sometime, and when we do it'll be somebody else's problem, but at least we'll have had a good time getting there

I thought someone was struggling to unwrap them.

3 for 1d when I were a nipper, blackjacks too and many others.

I must be older than you. Kev! I used to be able to buy them for a farthing each [lasted only a few months after getting control of my pocket money, rather than having sweets bought for me out of the funds, before the farthing was withdrawn from circulation], and later sold '4 for 1d' [or you could buy 2 for 1/2d towards the end of the week, when Friday night seemed a long way off ...] (y)

Please Miss can I go out to play 😇😇
Spent the last 3 years locked down with covid as I didn't want to end up in a box and the back end of last year I had my knee repaired (it's a bugger trying to use a crutch on the throttle and brake but with a lot of practice I managed 👍) I have now got the all clear from the fella with the knife from the cut and slash department so we are back on our travels and planning a trip through the tunnel and travels at home, Marjorie is 87 and I'm 86 middle of this month and as long as we are safe to drive then we are off on our jollies, who wants to end up in an old folks sat in a chair looking at 4 walls, get up off your arse and enjoy life 🥳🥳🥳
Happy travels, don't forget that if you see me coming towards you I will be on the other side of the road 🤫🤫 I think
Brilliant, well done to you both, just let us know when you are on the road 😄😄

We are giving the EU a miss this year. We have loads of places we like in the UK. We sat down after Christmas and rang round and booked something for every month right upto September. Nothing special. Week near Margate followed by a week in Burnham on Crouch. Couple of weeks in Norfolk. Off to the South Coast end of the week. Places we like and a few new places. EHU and just plain fields. 6 month old puppy to give us something to do. Don't know how I managed to goto work. Slowed down now and need a walking stick to get around but still breathing. Spoke to a friend last night. He fell over in the bathroom on a nightly visit. His blood pressure was 59 over 35. SWMBO was surprised he is still with us. The days we have left are getting fewer so you need to cram plenty in. Just decided we will be off to Spain next year. Go down in March when fewer muzzles about and head back into France in May for a month on the way back. Thats if we are still around.
