Just as above but ours is powered from the habitation lighting circuit and is on full time when travelling. Just switch off the display and disconnect the feed to the cameras when parked up. Sometimes leave them powered up overnight if we feel in need of a bit of security, those little glowing 'eyes' at the back of the van send a message perhaps?
Got mine from Ebay and they've worked well enough for about six months so far apart from occasional misting of the cameras which is probably inevitable given the lenses are behind the same glass as the night vision leds, so I'd probably go for a better design of camera. Very handy having a rear view and a downward looking camera though, given the behemoth is 8 metres long. All up about £45 from memory, oh and 7'' screen.
Food for thought ...
Cheers
