So,
I think that a very big PRO in Fulltimeing is having the time to Take in your environment. Connect & Re-Connect with the bigger picture that is around you.
I Love Walking & Shuffling around with not having to pay too much attention to Time, I don’t have a Watch & I think that there’s only Dawn, Daytime, Dusk & Nighttime (It’s ALWAYS Lunch time) As far as Time itself is concerned.
Then Halloween to Pancake day, Pancake day to Halloween as far as the seasons go.
This mindset opens opportunities to actually LOOK & Notice the changes throughout the calendar year that helps immensely when I Forage & get Game,
What I HAVE noticed recently is the Headlines are Full to Bursting with nature’s bounty & snacks.
The Blackberries numbers are stupid, & although I don’t really process them now look at the Elderberries, I can’t wait for the Rose-hips to soften & the Mushrooms to pop.
Yeah I’ve seen those,
I’ve actually got a Stainless steel folding Twig firebox that I cook on & occasionally use as a small fire pit. It’s this one.
I will take a picture next time I use it.
Esp if you start eating the locals. So I think that a big con in being a Fulltime Livaboard & pursuing this lifestyle is you can’t help a bit of ’Paranoia’ setting in, & this has an impact on your daily decisions & Parkups.
I’m fairly lucky in that I’ve actually gone out of my way on the routes & Park ups that I use on my Travel loops to Interact with locals, Businesses & even chat to the Council workers that empty Bins & Maintain the Lay-by to the point that I always get a hand raised in recognition, a cheerful ’Hello’ & often a quick chat from them as they go about their business. I even pick up occasional work from Farmers & Estates, with a few odd jobs from the locals that I’ve bolsters a bit of trust with. So like to think I’ve invested time & Efforts into a rapport.
You just don’t want to be associated with the people that show little respect, Draw unwanted attention & Behave in a way that brings a vail of negativity towards Livaboard homes. However from the ‘Some Onlookers’ perspective,,,Well your still just another part of the problem.
