Lithium battery discharged for no reason

Well there's plenty of advice for you which will give you some things to look into, meanwhile I would suggest you switch off the invertor when not in use as it could be drawing around 24ah per day if it's a good quality invertor, and even more than that if it's a 'cheaper' one.

I've checked the victron solar controller and it's wired correctly it's currently on float at 13.49 volts as per usual

slightly confused as earlier you said ....
We have 160 Wats of solar. But I have noticed since installing a new victron controller it always thinks the battery has 14 volts and is permanently on float. When the inverter is on standby the app doesn't show any drain just when something is on.

I think I'm confused my self it must have been at13.5volts before and on float as it doesn't seem to change even when the battery has discharged

no profession of knowledge but i had a victron permanently on float and we also had the same problem with alan a couple of weeks ago , jeff told me how to reboot it and we also found the same information on victron’s site

Cheers Jeff. I've reset the solar controller like ken posted and it's now on absorption which is hasn't done before so that part might be sorted . I've deleted and reinstalled the ecoworthy app which is now showing 90%soc at 13.4 amps does that sound right?

Sounds good to me, keep your eye on it and I will give it the once over at the Rolls Royce rally

Thanks Jeff should I try and drain the battery down using the inverter and see if it drops to zero unexpectedly again?

In future you can cross check what the app says you have left in percentage against the voltage by using the chart below. Be aware that the figures are RESTING voltages, IE when the battery isn't being used or charged. If it's been heavily used say by an inverter or charged then let it sit for half an hour or so to settle before using the voltage readings.

think you’ll find steve that your problem is sorted if your on float you’ve effectively got no solar and possibly not had for a while , the controller moves between float, absorption and bulk that was my problem when i had been on mains it never reverted now i keep an eye on it
