Nan scammed on eBay after paying £10k for 'dream' campervan
Eileen wanted to make sure her children and grandkids 'always had a holiday'
Richard, your just being selfish and unhelpful.Do these people still believe in Santa Claus?
If they have been looking at motorhomes surely they know that you cannot buy 2017 motorhomes for £27k.
And this is how the scammers get these people as they think they have bagged the bargain of the century.
Although it is a horrible thing to do, these people really need to wake up,
And at the very least get some advice before parting with cash.
Who on earth would part with £10k on something you haven’t even seen.
If it is such a bargain get in the car and get to Sheffield or were ever it is supposed to be.
Only if he has a court order.Richard, your just being selfish and unhelpful.
You should consider other people and there feelings mate.
Many on here are now distraught particularly Rob and Trev, now pack it in please.
Rob, Trev Santa will still call don’t let him upset you lads.
If it's looks too good to be true........
And you never even offered a free cup of tea, tight g-t.But once in a while it is genuine.
A bloke regularly posts in our local facebook group offering to unblock drains free for anyone over 65.
I always knew this was a scam but when our drain was blocked I gave him a ring anyway, quite prepared to tell him to do one when the scam emerged.
He turned up today; rodded the drains and got a lot of grease out.
But then wasn't happy with the way the sink was draining.
"Here comes the scam" I thought but he then cleaned out the sink waste pipe and now the sink drains like new.
No charge.
Sometimes it is good to be wrong.
Bit of a difference between a bit of drain rodding and a big chunk of Motorhome etc tho ?But once in a while it is genuine.

Sounds a bit like the Motorway sell your car TV ad.I remember in the early days of eBay there was a fairly new BMW (think motorbike but may have been car but was BMW) and it was up for £5. It made the National news at the time as someone paid the £5 and got the vehicle.
Turned out the husband had been up to no good so the wife put his pride and joy on eBay, some of you probably remember. Was a darn good buy![]()
Actually I not only offered a cup of tea but also use of the toilet. Both were declined. And you never even offered a free cup of tea, tight g-t.![]()
I agree, must be great never erring, never being taken inn, always being right.i feel for her . i know she was naive about the value , but she honestly believed the seller , and her good nature was taken advantage of by a common thief . i think most of us have fallen for scams in small ways perhaps , but i don't think she deserves the punishment she's suffered .
