Providing you take time to understand what you are doing and the differences between flare types and flare fittings (male/female/single flare/bubble flare metric /imperial)
And use a decent flaring tool....
Then it's not a difficult job to do....
Though I would recommend your work is checked by someone with experience the first few times you do it.
