Hank the Tanks Dodgy battery and solar system

Sorry Rob, no I thought you were tea total for some reason, glad you told me, I'll get you a can in next time we go shopping.
If you're over for more than one night will you be OK with just one can? I thought you'd probably have half a can one night and save the other half for the following day? Or should I get you two cans just in case?
Nah, it's Rob, just get a case.

Just thought I would bump this as I got very excited just now. :D

After a miserable late afternoon and night yesterday. This pleases me no end. :D

Its actually quite cloudy as well. I actually saw 238w a minute ago but it was 216w when I screenshot it. I think our panels are 240w in total so thats virtually 100% input which I have never seen before. 216w is over 15 amps! I remember Merl saying if its cloudy and sunny it can suddenly sharply increase the input if the sun catches the cloud right.

Puny compared to some of the setups on the here but more than enough for us as we are not powering compressor fridges or microwaves etc.

Best I could manage today....

What are you messing around at? You need to get the panels cleaned and the van tilted towards the sun with your levelling blocks Barry. You could top 250W.... get your finger out lad🙄

The thing is though, I seem to remember we had a discussion about how big my original panel that was already fitted when I bought the van. I think you reckoned it was a 115w or 120w and I reckoned it was 140w. As the one we added was a 100w and now that this morning I saw 238w input then surely I was correct at a total panel wattage of 240w! Do I win £5?

Nah, the extra power is obviously coming from the additional Craig David solar panel....they are known for being under rated and Proper Bo.

Unfortunately the Craig David signature you added to the side of my panel seems to have washed off. 😞 You can do another one when you fit the next one. 😁
