Absolutely rubbish install. They obviously hadn't got the correct ring terminals for the 16mm cable and had attempted to use yellow crimp ring terminals that are suitable for only 1.5-2.5mm cable. They hadn't actually crimped the lug at all, just squashed the plastic, the only thing stopping the joint falling apart was the heat shrink. Checked all the connections and another pulled apart quite easily at the Durite VSR so redid that too. The negative supply to the Durite was also a joke, Kev had already found that the cable was lose at a bullet connector but today I found that it had also slipped out of it's lug at the battery terminal too! What a joke :poop:

Only twice but he did bring Liz this time so that probably counts as three? Anyway, he drank our tea, ate my last Mint Club biscuit and nicked my screwdriver kitchen roll combo listing off Ebay too. Thankfully he posts a lot of his French holiday details on WC so I'll know when they are catching the ferry back so just in case they decide to make a surprise drop off to see us on the way back home I'll be able to lock the gate, leave the lights off and pretend I'm not at home ;)

All my work comes with a standard 5 microsecond warranty Barry, it's in my T's and C's.

He can't do that!! If you look at the listing I'm already watching it! I was waiting until the end to put a bid in. Thats against Ebay rules I am afraid. Reported!

I've been diddled, he must have used most of the kitchen roll. And it's a two hour drive to collect.

TBF Barry I dont think you did. The screwdriver handle had a dodgy smell, I think it had been in some strange places.

WTF are you talking about? I gave you a glass when you were working! Ok so I had a pint glass of the filthy tramp cider and you had a shot glass but you needed to focus. I was doing you a favour!

Sorry Rob, no I thought you were tea total for some reason, glad you told me, I'll get you a can in next time we go shopping.
If you're over for more than one night will you be OK with just one can? I thought you'd probably have half a can one night and save the other half for the following day? Or should I get you two cans just in case?
