Six days to go until a month off grid on the Isle of Arran. Putting it all to the test.

I keep looking out the upstairs window longingly at the Craig "David" Solar panel. :D (funny man that Merl).

I bet Merl is missing me.

That panel looks proper Bo our kid.
Sorry Baz but I forgot to remove "DAVID" before I fitted the panel. 🤭 You realise you're going to have a Craig David Solar panel up there forever now:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Thats ok Merl. It will always remind me of our time together and will serve also as a reminder not to binge rocket fuel cider when your in the middle of a complex job. :D

Help! my 25a Amperor battery charger in the van has packed in this week. It's only lasted 9 years has anyone any thoughts on what to replace it with that doesn't cost too much or involve having to start the new hobby of voltage watching.

Yep. I have just taken delivery of some of these. The latest in Lip4suction technology. Forget all that Frogstar Draft shite. These are what you need. £99.99 each (you will need half a dozen). 100% drop in as well. No fancy chargers or B2B bollox required.

My batteries seem to be fine. It is my charger that is fckd . Sorry if my post failed to make that clear. It may come as a shock but my charger really is fckd. :ROFLMAO:

Ah I see. You need one of these then. Ignore the Halfords brand name. Its a genuine Vic&Bob charger. You can always tell as they are the blue ones. They match those batteries I posted earlier so I would get both if I were you. That gauge is spot on as well. No more faffing with stupid Bluepuff apps.

£299 each them. Be quick or Merl will ave em and stick em on Ebay.

That's what I like about this forum, members are willing to go the extra mile to help one another. Are there any savings to be made if I don't take the tin of flux.
