Anyone know where ill get some of these. Been reading up on them and its probably something we should have done on old Hank 1 to stop all the crud fouling up the jets and flue over winter but apparently they also should be used below 8c which of course it will be when we are away over winter. Some say just the bottom one is needed for use on hookup. I gather when its cold the fridge can struggle to keep stuff cold (I know its sounds daft) without the vents on.

Are they a standard fit size does anyone know? Best place to find them?

These are pretty much the most common ones, there is the LS300 but they're are about 300mm high, Hank one may have had a different version to theses, but always measure first.

I found those just now also Kev. They are actually LS200/100 though. I think they are the right ones. The internal measurements of my grills are 44cm x 15cm and are identical, top and bottom. Those are Height 131mm x Width 443mm and are supposed to leave a bit of a gap at the bottom. Ill email the seller to make sure but I reckon those are the ones. Cheers.

Have you checked to make sure they are not hidden somewhere in the van first, I had a few van and they were tucked away out of site.

Thanks for the post, Barry, it’s just reminded me that we have these proper winter ones that came with the van. Yay! 👍 👌

They were tucked under one of the bench seats, but need to check they’re still there. His lordship might have removed them and hidden them somewhere in the house/garage - a regular occurrence with many other things besides…! 🤨😠😆🙄

They genuinely do make a difference to the efficiency of the fridge when the temperature drops and i also had them on when parked up over winter.

Very simple fitting, put the top in and up first then a quarter turn on the two plastic screws.

I always thought you weren't supposed to use them with the fridge on gas but now Im not sure. I read elsewhere that on gas you should only use the lower cover but not sure. I doubt ill be using them when on gas anyway. Its mainly for our winter trip on hookup and when the van is stood over winter. Hank 1 never had them on apart from some cardboard ones I made to stop the draughts which were eaten by Donkeys on the field at Flamborough head. :D

We had terrible problems with the old vans fridge though. Every year the jets would get blocked with muck and rust. Im hoping getting some proper covers will help avoid this down the line.
