Double skillet

Well I'll forgive you, then! How did you make it? Love my roast chicken, I do....
 
After reading all this I was in the local Katherine House charity wharehouse (in Stafford) yesterday looking for bargains, & lo & behold! There was a battered box with a skillet like object in it completely unused!

It's a Metro (French?) with a doughnut base to place over the hob, a grill that fits above it & a large dome lid to keep the heat in. Designed (it says) to do a whole meal in one, with rice or veg in the base, meat &/or veg on the grill. Not used it yet, but off to the boat with it for the bank holiday so I may well try something out on it there. I shall report back.

Oh, and the best bit - it was only a sick squid note. :cool1:
 
Skillet anyone?

Well, we're now into May. I was just wondering if anyone has either received their skillet or managed to get any response from Frances, the skillet lady?:cry:
 
We originally ordered in Jan cheque was returned out of stock ordered again first week of April arrived this morning.
We have one we have had for 3 years I remember it took a while to come. Sandra (boss) rang at time and she answered and 3 days later it arrived. So this time we thought it would take 4 or 5 weeks and it did.

I have just joined and by coincidence I have also ordered a double skillet but like many it has not arrived. Do you have a posting address or any contact number for Frances please?

I tried that & it seems to be YEARS old! I could only find references to it on 10 year old dead sites!! Sorry. In the end, I didn't test it over the weekend as nothing benefitted from special pans anyway.

nothing yet from the skillet lady, ordered and paid for mine on the 12th april, got a note in my calander to remind me to claim my money before the 45 days are up but hope something will arrive before then.

We have also had an email from them today. Hopefully, they will be back on track now although they still don't have a phone number or broadband connection yet.
