Double skillet

we have had this a month and can honestly its the best thin I have bought in a long time apart from my lumie alarm clock. It was money well spent

How long was delivery

Hi after reading this thread I ordered one that's 2 weeks now and not a sign off it How long did you have to wait I've tried contacting them and no answer I paid with pay pal so they got my money
 
I had to wait a good few weeks for mine. Had tried to contact as well. Then got e mail she had been in hospital, skillet turned up a few days later.

Every now and then talk of skillets comes up and so many folk rave about them! I'm not sure why I need one but am now so intrigued, I have just ordered a double skillet with heat diffuser and cookbook! I shall have to use it at home and in the van to justify the cost but I am hoping I shall soon learn the reason for all this skillet passion and become a convert too.

What contact did you have with them ? I've been 2 wks waiting for mine and can't get any response from them and have just started a pay pal claim to recover my money
 
Perhaps something is up with her. She works alone, so if she's not around nothing gets done. Not ideal, but thats the way it is. She is 100% legit though, of that I'm certain.

We bought a heavy bottomed large stainless frying pan with a glass lid from a charity shop for £3, it's brilliant, doesn't scratch, cooks pretty much anything. That and a pan for pasta/spuds/vegetables, and we're sorted.

Yes a few times no answer so now into the third week if the skillets are good that's a lot better than her customer care

I've given up now and decided to hope Pay Pal comes up with a refund

Has anyone seen her at a show recently wonder if she's still trading

Bought one last week off the Motorhome group on FB and saw the lady with her stand at Peterborough last week end , my partner bought the cook book. We tried it this weekend and cooked great, very useful item ok

I'm in the same boat. I ordered mine on April 5th, the money went from my account on April 8th, I've emailed and phoned but no reply.

The answer phone says not to expect anything till the end of April and as I wanted to take the damn thing to France with me next Friday that's not a lot of use. I'm going to put in a claim with Paypal and get my money back.

I'm thinking that they are not fraudsters but merely poorly sorted when it comes to customer service - but it's no way to run a business.

Not impressed.

This is what puts me off buying one. The non-stick is the older type. For the amount of time these things have been around you'd think that they would have the hard anodised finish by now, a similar coating to the one used by Tefal
 
I bought one of these last year and it was delivered within a week or two. It does everything that she claims and I find it very versatile. She might only have them produced in small batches depending on orders, and not have a large amount of them in stock? The poor response to emails or phone calls must be annoying though.

The website does give a list of shows where she'll be demonstrating, but even that doesn't seem to have been updated since 2010 (assuming that I'm looking at the latest website). It seems that IT and comms aren't their strong points!

Maybe if someone sees her at an upcoming show they could mention these problems to her? It would help to keep the customers happy and must be better for her business. :)

I don't see why not Hippy, but it will depend on the skill of the operator of course!

Is that how you keep your coffee warm overnight?? :):)
