Connecting phone to Van Radio (2015 Fiat Ducato)

Glad it helped 🤣 Your pic shows a 2014 fiat head unit, so there isn't a usb connection BUT you can add an aux cable see attached ....
But you would have to see if anyone made a specific cable if you use an iPhone, I'm sure there must be one out there 🤣

That don't look to bad! Assuming I have the radio remover tools of course. Ill get it done at some point. I no longer have an iPhone now so my Android phone has a 3.5mm jack plug. Googling about the Aux cable might take some tracking down.

Ill see how it goes with the adaptor I bought. Would prefer a proper jack plug though. Thanks again.

Meeeow

Grow a pair and do it while you're away I always like to have a little project when we go away, keep her ladyship on her toes.

Forgot to update this thread. (I have so many :D )

The little Bluetooth gadget arrived this morning. Works well. I tested it in the car first and compared to the AUX jack lead that I have on that one. Not quite as good but mainly volume rather than quality.

So I tested it in the new van and its fine. The good thing about it is I can plug it into the 12v sockets in the rear lounge and play stuff from my phone straight through the vans sound system. If I took my little Combo guitar amp with me I reckon I could blow the doors off in a jamming session. Ill still fit that AUX cable kindly posted up thread though at some point, best of both worlds.
