That happened that last time we went over the Col du Tourmalet.You would think the snow on the top of it would be a clue. I remember us driving up Mount Olympus once in Cyprus in late March which is only half the height of Teide and it was sunbathing pool weather on the coast and we got out at the top and had a snowball fight.
Absolutely baking hot when we left Carrefour, in Argeles Gazost then when we got to the top a bunch of lunatic British bikers having a fekking snowball fight and seriously p*ssing off everyone else up there.
That included the cyclists who had to try and negotiate the snow that was all over the road which up until that point was clear and bone dry.
