As an addendum, I've never understood why some motorhomers seem to get so sniffy about caravans.
I'll give it a name. A not very complimentary one either - petty snobbery
Just cos y'all prefer a caravan with a fancy engine in it and suddenly you've turned yourselves into Lord and Lady Muck (or maybe you already were... a snob or titled, that is!)
I only wish this had been a motorhome owner taking up half of a small carpark used by locals, and not a caravan. You're either in some ludicrously expensive hotel in Dubai or on a cruise maybe?

About three weeks ago the solar just wasn't cutting it so we moved back up to North Devon and I managed to get a deal on a site. I hated it at first as it was busy, massive and just not my thing but this place has everything. Saunas and steam room in the shower block. Two large swimming pools although the outdoor one is closed and it even has room / van service. You order food on your phone and 15 min later a guy on a golf buggy delivers it to your van..
We booked in for two weeks initially but are staying a month now. I did a check at the highest price for summer and its top whack was £99 a night for a three night break over a weekend in August, otherwise £75. We are paying £14 although the last week is £12.
I'm not allowed to say where it is.
