Caravan with awning on small car park on Arran

As an addendum, I've never understood why some motorhomers seem to get so sniffy about caravans. 🤔🤷‍♀️

I'll give it a name. A not very complimentary one either - petty snobbery 😎

Just cos y'all prefer a caravan with a fancy engine in it and suddenly you've turned yourselves into Lord and Lady Muck (or maybe you already were... a snob or titled, that is!) 🙄 😜 🤣 :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I don't mind caravans Marie.

As long as they know their place in the hierarchy. :giggle:

I only wish this had been a motorhome owner taking up half of a small carpark used by locals, and not a caravan. If it had been, apart from the word caravan my posts would have been exactly the same, but using the word motorhome instead.

Both Barry and myself have shared POIs with caravans on Arran with no mention being made of the fact whatsoever. Travellers on Arran regularly use the same locations as we do.

You're either in some ludicrously expensive hotel in Dubai or on a cruise maybe?

Either that or you're living it up at Butlins ... ;) :ROFLMAO:

About three weeks ago the solar just wasn't cutting it so we moved back up to North Devon and I managed to get a deal on a site. I hated it at first as it was busy, massive and just not my thing but this place has everything. Saunas and steam room in the shower block. Two large swimming pools although the outdoor one is closed and it even has room / van service. You order food on your phone and 15 min later a guy on a golf buggy delivers it to your van..🤣

We booked in for two weeks initially but are staying a month now. I did a check at the highest price for summer and its top whack was £99 a night for a three night break over a weekend in August, otherwise £75. We are paying £14 although the last week is £12.

I'm not allowed to say where it is. 🤣
