Campsite observation.

To be honest, most new motorhomes and PVC's are meant to be used on mains if you intend staying still for a bit, they don't have adequate systems to do a week or two with no umbilicals.

Also, don't forget the majority of motorhome owners will only use a camp site regarding normal folk such as us as freeloaders.

Personally I didn't get a van to have to pay to use it other than tax, insurance and fuel. That said I do sometimes use a site if I need to
