So it looks like I will have to cancel my holiday to Cornwall in August..was travelling down from Yorkshire. But hit a snag .it seems my brake servo has decided to pack in .as they dont make these anymore I need to remove it and send it away for repair ..trouble is everyone is mowed out .that aside I have removed the master cylinder .removed the pedal.linkage .pin and removed the four bolts on the inside of the cab under the steering wheel by the brake pedal..the thing still feels.pretty solid and is not budging ??any ideas am I missing anything ( 1994 fiat ducato bymer b534)
Or is it just rusted onto bulkhead in engine bay .thanks in advance

Have you tried coastal motorhomes
Hi yes I have. Thanks for the reply though .I spoke in depth this morning with them .( great service ) unfortunately it was them that said no longer made and to try get mine fixed )
I'm pretty sure its a case of master cylinder off ( done )
Undo.split pin and pin that goes through pedal ( cab side )done )
Remove the four nuts from.the four bolts by the foot pedal.( done )
I thought it would then pull out in engine bay
But no such luck..
Gutted
Thanks again for reply appreciated

They sometimes get stuck to the bulkhead I think you have done all correctly you might need to be a bit brutal to remove after all them years
Cheers scared of damaging the bulkhead. I will try soak some penetrating oil down back of it .i thought hang on have i missed aomething here its stull tight on😂 .thanks for reply much appreciated

Any booster will do if you can find one almost the same bolt connections, you may have to makes pedal adoptors etc but can be done.

Thanks 👍👍realised this has double nuts one ot behind pedal plate bolts through where pedal plate is so need to remove all the pedals and pedal plate to access the remaining nuts .and the steering column is in way too 😂

Compare it to these.

Worth search for the up to 2006 vehicles, Boxer & Relay they will share components

Thanks for the reply.this ones a two bolt where master cinder fits mines a 4 ..bolt think I have managed.to get a second hand one but its coming from Italy and its a huge gamble as prob in the same state as the one I already have

It's possible most would work but all the fittings would need to line up.

Perhaps once removed there will be a part number as they won't have made them just for that van.
Its out .I will take a look later today .though I may have found one in Italy. Maybe best idea was to tey get mine fixed but had to gamble as everywhere seems booked up.for repairing them

Probably ok, but as for assurances before buying, and not forgetting Ebay and Paypal are on the side of the buyer.

Its out !!I'm guessing thie plunger that gets pushed inside the brake master cylinder shouldn't wobble about side to side or drop out easy like it did
