Autohomes

Yeah, the one in Luton sounds too good to be true apart from being diesel but I could live with that I suppose! I've sent a message, I couldn't see a phone number. Thanks.

If you go to view it Ems, insist that you view it on the drive of the property shown in the photo'.

Wil do, I think thats why I never got to view the one in Birmingham as I said I'd like to view it at the registered address!

My brother lives in Luton so if I do view it I'll drag him along, its always nice to have someone else's opinion.

How about this? Fair distance down in Suffolk though. Don't know anything about Bedfords, may be a bit too old? Wacky upholstery!

CLASSIC UNIQUE BEDFORD CF AUTO SLEEPER | eBay

And this Bedford Autosleeper in Loughborough, private sale:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BEDFORD-C...ace of it they were, or seemed a nice couple.

The one in Luton is a scam, apaprently he is in germany and has loads of people interested in the 'caravan'! I'd need to pay in full and he will deliver free of charge! Er, No!

I keep watching the old Bedford one but I think its just too old. I was hoping for someting at least 1990 or newer!

Oh well, nothing ventured. Keep trying!

According to Ebay feedback, it has been on sale before. The prospecive buyer then gave a negative, saying the whole vehicle is filthy and also has a rusty chassis. Having said that, it does have a years MOT

It seems reasonable enough.

There's a couple of lads round here do a bit of wheeler dealing in old campers and they have had some cracking vans from Scotland over the last few years.
Maybe too far out of the way for peeps from the rest of the country to make the trip up to view?

True, but there may possibly be someone on the forum that lives near by that would take a look? and even piccies? Not the same as seeing it for yourself I suppose... but then again,I bought mine from ebay without even seeing it. So, (oops that phrase popped out, know what I mean, etc! ) (or did you see that thread?? If notyour prob DONT know what I means!) anyway .. soo, Scottish bargains worth considering??

If that dinkum tranny is in good nick, d'you reckon it's a reasonable buy?

I'd almost have it for myself, then I don't have to fall out with him indoors if I want to do a bit of wild camping on my own. :lol-053:

It has dawned on me this year that I hate sharing a van! :drive:

Pity we're off to Derbyshire tomorrow or I'd have had a run up to see it, if it's still available.
I have a local friend (mechanically minded) who has been into campers for years and will come along to check them out with me at the drop of a hat.

(Hope Ems is listening if she spots anything in this neck of the woods ;) )
