Hi, depends upon how handy you are I suppose.
An 80mm fan in our case fitted pretty much perfectly, it helped because the 'tube' tapered slightly too.
Couldn't find a circular 80mm fan so had to grind the corners off of a square one, that meant I had to find an 80mm fan where the lead out wires exited close to the body and not part way up the arm.
I went OTT and chose a fan with a variable speed option and then made a little circuit with a 555 timer IC to give me a half speed option but there simple things that you can purchase if you felt you wanted that option.
Lucky I had a ceiling void where I could furtle the cables behind so no trunking on show.
