I'm with the NFU. For a 2019 £65,000 motorhome plus a 1983 Mercedes they charge me £83 per month, i.e. £996 per annum. For any vehicle over £60,000 a lot of companies require you to have a tracker which was professionally fitted (haha they use skotchlok connectors sometimes) plus the monitoring fee. NFU do not. Also NFU do not charge any extra for paying monthly, which makes it easier when you run out of money before you run out of month. Also I know of a Very Expensive claim they paid without question. My father in law was a very elderly, very incompetent old farmer and his farmhouse blew to pieces in a gas explosion. Everyone was out at the time, except the little dog which was found alive and well in the adjoining field. Knowing what I know about him and me being an ex-gas man I strongly suspect he had done something dodgy to the gas, or not had it safety checked each year. NFU paid for the demolition and removal of the rubble, and rebuilt the house and refurnished it, no problems. So I reckon that if I were to make a claim on my vehicles I am very confident of them paying up without any fuss.
Also this business of
insurance policies including breakdown: many bank accounts include that anyway, so when you ask 'how much is it without the breakdown cover?' they always say it is always included you get no discount for not having it.
