Alternative to MS Autoroute for trip planning?

I use a pure android of line gps rolling map on my degooglised ph, tested today from antrim town right back to my door, :)

Another win for Autoroute. I tried importing all the CC Infos POI into google maps on the laptop just now. It only lets you import 2000 in one layer. There are about 25000 I think across Europe. I managed just the CC Infos wild spots for France only but its quite a limitation. I think Google Earth will allow as many as you like but no routing!! Autoroute wins. (from 12 years ago) :D

Thanks. Never heard of it but are you sure you can use it on a PC offline?

AI says not but its often wrong.

"No, HERE WeGo is primarily designed for mobile devices (phones and tablets) and doesn't have a dedicated PC version for offline map usage. While you can download offline maps on your mobile device and use them on the app, that app is not typically available for PC use. "
I just tried it on my PC out of curiosity.

The maps were lousy lacking in detail and not even showing minor roads. And it was very slow and sluggish to use. I gave up at that point even trying to see what it would and would not do.

That's not typical, it shows all kinds of detail once you figure it out, it is a little slow to open but for planning it unbeatable.

I tried it years ago not tried it since, must give it a look but stopped as it wasn't as good as others.

Did anyone use the TNT PC program years ago, it was primarily designed for the parcel delivery company, and was really good, but then the updates stopped.
