Alternative to MS Autoroute for trip planning?

No ita pure android instalation to put on a pc/laptop, remember all android is in fact built from linux, you of all should master this, get the finger out.

You're the expert Trev but I'll be amazed if you tell me you can run native Android apps on a linux distro without some kind of VM, emulator or container. Then of course you have the challenge of creating a dual boot W11 and Linux system. I value whats left of my sanity so I think ill pass.

Goes on with no imulators, you will be ask at boot do you wish full install or beside windows, so after its on and you boot the screen will prompt which sys you wish to use.

What does? A Dual boot system or Android apps?
Duel boot with a full android sys as seen on tablets and mobiles, but it wont have any google spyware as its pure android which is clean.
Instead of playstore you use f droid for aps, hope this helps.

Duel boot meens 2 sys on one pc, you pick at first boot.
I was going to bayymena today but will give it a miss.

Bloody hell Trev. I know what a dual boot system is. I was setting them up before you got electricity in Norn Iron :ROFLMAO:

I meant "what goes on without emulators"? Ill bet my house (without looking) you cannot run native android apps on any Linux distro without some kind of emulator / virtual machine / container. So really there is no advantage of installing the dual boot system with Linux as you can get emulators for windows but they are clunky and crap. Android apps are designed to work differently anyway from a PC desktop with a proper mouse and keyboard. Maybe I'm getting old but give me a large screen, proper mouse and a proper keyboard any day. So much more detail and so much faster for complex stuff.

No you are getting mixed up, the distro is android pure and same as on a ph or tablet, its not a standard linux distro like i use, no imulators etc required.
It will just look like a big tablet or ph screen, but you are in control and load what you want, now you have me thinking.

Oh ok Trev. An Android Linux Distro? My brain is too goosed to get my head around that right now. Ill have a further look tomorrow when I have recovered from todays epic adventure :D

I can remember the old MSDOS version from the late 80s early 90s when it first came out.

We had it at work and thought it was Witchcraft. :D

The one thing I remember is you could program in your vehicle details I think and stuff like your cars performance / speed parameters etc.

On ours we had Ford Escort, Rover and Derek. Derek was the MD who drove an XJS. :D
