Next van is gonna have a Mac Studio and a 32" display in it, so might have more interest then. Although, I'm more looking forward to sitting up the top of the alps playing ETS2![]()
I just tried it on my PC out of curiosity.Thanks. Never heard of it but are you sure you can use it on a PC offline?
AI says not but its often wrong.
"No, HERE WeGo is primarily designed for mobile devices (phones and tablets) and doesn't have a dedicated PC version for offline map usage. While you can download offline maps on your mobile device and use them on the app, that app is not typically available for PC use. "
That's not typical, it shows all kinds of detail once you figure it out, it is a little slow to open but for planning it unbeatable.I just tried it on my PC out of curiosity.
The maps were lousy lacking in detail and not even showing minor roads. And it was very slow and sluggish to use. I gave up at that point even trying to see what it would and would not do.

I think he is talking about Here We go app Kev not Autoroute.
Ah!I think he is talking about Here We go app Kev not Autoroute.
OsmAnd will allow you to do what you want. But then you will have to use an Android tablet...What is absolutely staggering though is in the past few days I have found no other way of doing online routing where you can load the complete comprehensive set of Aires, wild spots, service points etc (mine are taken from CC Infos but they could come from any other source) and see them all on one map and plan routes between them other than Autoroute 2013. Google Maps only takes 2000 in one data set and Google Earth Pro will take 10000 which is still not enough and it doesn't do routing. Nowhere near enough and impossible to split really.
I am starting to remember why I used Autoroute so much in the good old days of epic long Euro tours.
