Evening all Need new car audio systems in both Jez the motorhome and Zorba the Greek Skoda. So started doing a bit of Googling, as you do. Don't think either will be any use for Jez for navigation as not compatible with Co pilot, which we use. But can play Spotify and Audible through these. So...

Tried in shatterproof glass but the maker refused as too many notches either side which enable the shelf to be maneuvered into place. Otherwise we'll have to take the door off every time to clean it!

Went to order, but all the ones I could find were to deep (not all about the width!). So looks like I'm stuck with the easily breakable Dometic ones! A really Gap in the market. Last time they needed replacing I took one to a glass cutter, but he refused as too many notches.

Think there are screws to lock the expanding parts. I might get one and try it.

You'd have thought I would have learnt my lesson about over loading shelves, but I haven't and need to buy some more! The waffle ones are super expensive and break. Has anyone replaced them with the expanding ones? Experiences? Thanks in anticipation. p.s. Keeping our Adria, after all that...

We used suckers to hold an awning skirt on the side of the skirt to stop dogs (dog ... Oscar) escaping under the motorhome out of the awning ... they left marks! Wasn't happy as they don't polish out.
