It looks like a lot of (new?) people like the beach pic. It was taken in Portugal, at Nazare, where huge Atlantic waves break for the benefit of lunatic surfers!

I'm in a similiar position as yourself.
I inherited my late wifes Canon 5d mk3 and her collection of top end 'L' lens she used for mainly landscape photography.
Its a great full frame camera but far to heavy and bulky to carry around all day.
I am looking for a point and shoot or mirrorless camera that will be light and easy to carry but take a decent photograph.
Hopefully members will post their opinions etc and offer advice.
i have the option of using any of my exsisting canon lenses as well
A decent telephoto lens would be good.
With my F3s I had both 300 and 500 mirror and they were stunning.
So doesn't that take you back to your original post !! and you start to lug loads of gear around again ?
The short answer is that I don't know! If I click on the pic I go into Photobucket and view the original, no problemo. I'm not sure I've used a magnifier icon before, I'll have another look.

There's always 'Control +'!
I assume these are the generation of of lenses with the ultrasonic drive in them? Not the old "brass and glass?"
