And likely a new 240v charger. So three key elements to change including getting under the bonnet. Way beyond the capabilities of most. If you can do it yourself then fine but most won't be able to and thats when it suddenly becomes an expensive option. Just short of £3k I was quoted a couple of years back for lithium, extra solar and all the bits and bobs fitted. A big chunk of that was labour.

Now there's a thought. If I want a full lithium system fitted presumably I can get it all done in Norn Iron for two bucks? Thats even cheaper than buying tramp cider for Merl!!

I have just bought a couple of lithium batteries. a 200ah and a 100ah, I already have a B2B with a lithium setting, and solar, but I know my Hymer Elektroblock 99's built-in 240v charger will not be compatible with lithium.
I am looking for a decent 240v charger. I might increase the battery size when we eventually start using the van again, so I want to allow for that.
I have found a few, but I would like to hear recommendations based on actual use, not guesswork

Lithium isn't fussy about chargers, you'll almost certainly be able to use your existing charger. Just don't leave it on float for weeks on end.
Do you have the absorbtion and float voltages for the various settings?

Don't know why that would be Rob, sounds more like marketing rather than anything real. A battery is just 4 cells and a BMS. The same cells will be used by loads of manufacturers just as the particular BMS will that Fogstar chose to use.

Go with an empty rack and you can come back with one of his old bikes for a fiver, sell it over here as is and you will have made a few quid all in. Elec upgrades and new batteries. Jobs a gud un.

If folk are that bad they should just stay at home and watch tv after a spark plugs it in for them, i think you have been in touch with my brother.

I've never fitted a 240v charger to my motorhome Trev but I do know one thing. The one I have right now is certainly not connected to my battery with crocodile clips.

AFAIK the main problem with using the EBL99 is burning out the charging circuit if it has to do a lot of charging of the Lithium, having a B2B might help.
