Benidorm or bust.

So far on this trip what’s happened is unbelievable.
1st I threw my denture out with the rubbish somewhere in France.
2nd Solar panel decides to abscond.
3rd Diesel heater decides it’s had enough just blows loads of smoke and backfiring through exhaust.
4th Phone stollen.
5th couldn’t find fire stick or echo dot speaker so ordered new off Spanish Amazon all films in German some you can change to English in menu and new micro dot only speaks Spanish.

My son in law as asked if we’re making a new carry on film called Carry on Benidorm.
We’ve travelled to Benidorm upteen times in the past and never ever have had things go wrong like this trip.

On the plus side, John, it makes a pleasant change for us stuck back here to read about adventures that are not all perfect and envy-making - like the never-ending blinkin' travel tales we've had from that posho Barry, resident blummin' Rock God...

Although I've lost more dentures in me local, and they don't even do bread.

Smugfilter is the device that I attach to my phone. When we're having super weather on the Algarve.....
While you poor lot are stuck in a muddy field ,or sheltering from lousy weather

There have been complaints about a certain amount of smugness getting through, no matter how hard I tried to avoid it.
So, at great expense., we developed the smugfilter.
It's still only 95% efficient.
But we don't feel so guilty, anymore.

27 degrees today baz but still having run of bad luck today at private hospital with suspected torn muscle in right shoulder up all night with the pain, contacted travel insurance this morning got me in the private hospital X-rays pain relief injection in the rear and pain killers for the next 7 days, and appointment to see specialist on 29th December.
This is the first trip in 20 odd years of travelling that I’ve had any problems but still smiling though and off out tonight for a few sherbets.

Just got back in after a few Guinness and what ever the pain killer in my bum was it’s been amazing.just taken the meds and ready for a good nights sleep. Nigh Night.

When ever we went to a foreign country we went to enjoy the local culture, food etc. etc.

Chacun a son gout, though the cynic in me says getting pissed on sangria rather than on Guinness is still getting pissed . At Tortosa, we have more chance of rust than sunburn, with a forecast high of around 15 degrees - still, mustn't grumble ...
