All electric motorhomes.... Possible or not?

Surprisingly Tesla's are still selling well in UK, with the model Y as 3rd best selling vehicle last month, and model 3 as 4th best seller, whilst BEV sales as a whole have risen once again no other BEV models made the top ten.
Yes but globally particularly in Europe they are suffering with sales down 15% last month. Apart from the antics of Musk, they are having to compete with the Chinese who are making headway worldwide.
Time is a healer and maybe if Elon behaves himself Tesla will recover.

Sorry Trev, but I know quite a few people who own electric cars, and none of them would ever consider going back to an ice vehicle. Elon Musk is having problems selling his cars, but that’s got nothing to do with the cars, and everything to do with Elon Musk.

No, people are not generally "going off" EVs
; in fact, the vast majority of EV owners are satisfied and plan to buy another EV, though challenges like upfront cost and charging infrastructure are hindering wider adoption, particularly for private buyers in the UK. Global EV sales are still growing, and while there are issues with infrastructure and affordability, drivers who switch to electric vehicles rarely consider returning to petrol or diesel cars.
Why people are staying with EVs

  • High owner satisfaction:Studies show that a very high percentage of EV owners (around 92-94%) plan to purchase another EV as their next car.
not what im reading, dealers here wont take used ones in.

Last year Trev.

And you comment was about EV owners turning away from EVs, that’s simply not the case.
I know a few who have went back to diesels, these people cover over 300 miles a day on diliverys, they dont have time to hang around to charge or even finding a unit that has not been vandalised.

Around here BEV cars and vans are getting quite common, I don't know of one single person who has brought a BEV and decided to go back to a ICE, I do note that the Daily Fail and Torygraph seem to have reporters who complain about having BEV's and that they will go back to ICE.

Fair enough Trev, but the stats show 92-94% won’t.
If I was driving 300 miles a day I would buy a diesel.
But most people don’t drive 300 mile a day.
Thats over 100,000 miles a year.
Most of my journeys are less than 30 miles round trip.
I have a drive where I could charge a car.
I have a hybrid, but I may go for an EV next.
But EVs are not for everyone.

80% of all cars/vans here are com and as i did when working for toyota i had at least 300 miles a day running all over n ireland dilivering parts, so electric no good for that, my mate has a vw lecy car but he would be lucky to do 100 miles a week, so ok for him being retired and only picking up g kids from school.

Exactly horses for courses Trev.
EVs are not for everyone, and neither are ICE.

It is only the simpletons that think they will be having such a vehicle as a motorhome by then, once the financial crash has been implemented there. Will be no such things left in existence .the restrictions on travel will be in place and the financial means to travel will have disappeared. Nobody believes what is already being told to us and they cannot comprehend what is coming for you. I will be gone soon and so will many of the rest of us , the useless eaters go first, those with a surplus of years, those with chronic diseases, those that that require money from the state. Only the workers of use to the state left to do what is required.
Do not worry about EVs it is the least of your worries

If I was doing 300 miles a day I would be after a self powered hybrid :)

Bit silly as still have to change oils filters clutches etc, all for say a 30 mile run on electric, fact is you either go all electric or ic, no half messure works.

It is no conspiracy theory the fiat money system is crashing over the cliff and the government is ready for it to happen in a few months.
Look at the price of gold and silver to see how fast it is going. If you disbelieve me look at prices and availability of commodities you buy every week in the shops and the number of businesses closing every day, then look at the number of ISIS ‘fighters thaare coming ing in through my home town EVERY DAY. 1000 on Saturday last. They are imported for a reason . Why can I not get a doctors appt for my wife with a broken out hip replacement until January. It is happening now and if you do not THROW your TV out the door you will get the BS they feed you every day. I hope you have all got food in tins and stored in cupboards for as long as you can. My biggest problem is my life saving transfusions and daily injections ceasing to be available after October.

Quote from you in December 2022;

"After this winter's financial collapse nobody will have a car in London anyway."

People still have cars in London.

'I'll have some of what you're on', to paraphrase Meg Ryan ... 🤭

Rubbish Trev, mine switches in and out of EV mode all the time, can be in ton or speeding on a motorway. I did say a self charging hybrid not a plug in. There are a lot of different ways manufacturers are implementing this tech. Mine gives best fuel economy by far than I have ever had from any automatic to date
